BRI CSR Collaboration inEmpowering Person with Disability through Upskilling

Bank BRI together with the Menembus Batas Foundation held the inauguration of a series of training and apprenticeships in Bali on April 8, 2022. At the end of 2021, BRI and the Menembus Batas Foundation organized training programs in online and offline forms for people with disabilities who want to develop their abilities in the field of administration and also develop the business. This program supports entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs with disabilities to be economically independent and supports the inclusive environment. From this online and offline training program, people with disabilities also have the opportunity to do internships in several companies for 3 (three) months.

As a form of appreciation for the 100 online and offline training participants, BRI together with the Menembus Batas Foundation held an event in the form of the Inauguration of the #BRISahabatDisabilitas Training and Apprenticeship Program. This event was held at the Annika Linden Centre and attended by Angkie Yudistia, the Presidential Special Staff in the Disability and Rehabilitation Department. Local entrepreneurs with a disability were also invited to exhibit their products.
